01 — The idea

Keep your hands on the story. Say what you need — “shorter,” “warmer,” “add captions” — and your companion handles the busywork while you make the calls. Your workflow, at the speed of a sentence.

02 — How it works

Three steps.
One of them is talking.

  1. 01

    Shoot or import

Film on your phone or pick clips from your camera roll. SwishCut lines them up for you.

  2. 02

    Say what you want

“Cut the shaky bit.” “Add captions.” “Make it warmer.” Talk the way you’d brief an assistant editor.

  3. 03

    Share it

Export a finished video sized for Reels, TikTok, Shorts or anywhere else you post.

03 — What you can say

Talk like you’d talk
to an editor.

Hand off the repetitive edits in plain words. Spend your time on the ones that matter.

Cuts and trims.

Describe the moment and it’s gone. Tighten the start, drop the shaky bit, or keep only the best part.

Captions.

Words that follow your voice, styled to match.

Looks and color.

Name a mood. Get the grade.

Speed.

Slow motion, fast-forward, or a smooth ramp between them.

Any shape.

Wide, square or tall, reframed to keep the action in view.

Music and sound.

Add a track, turn it down, or let it swell at the end.

Undo, or take over by hand.

Every voice edit lands on a real timeline. Undo it out loud, or drag it to the exact frame yourself.

SwishCut is in active development. Features may change before release.

04 — Use cases

Made for every
kind of video.

The big trip. The quiet Sunday. The clip you want online in five minutes, not fifty.

Colorful coastal buildings above the sea in Cinque Terre

“Trim it to thirty seconds.”

Sunlit red sandstone formations in a vast desert

“Make it vertical with bold captions.”

A wooden boat on a still lake beneath the mountains

“Warmer, and add soft music.”

A wide mountain valley with a winding river below pine forest

“Slow-mo the jump.”

05 — Questions

Questions.
Ask away.

01What is SwishCut?

SwishCut is a voice-powered editing companion for mobile. Tell it what to change, like “cut the first two seconds” or “add captions”, and it makes the edit while you watch, so you get from footage to finished video faster.

02Who is it for?

Anyone who makes video. Experienced editors hand off the routine work (trims, captions, looks, music) and keep their attention on pacing and story. First-timers just describe what they want. Either way, each edit lands as you speak, so you can keep going or undo it.

03Can I still edit by hand?

Yes. Voice and touch work together: the full timeline is there whenever you want to drag a cut to the exact frame. You can switch between them at any time.

04What can I ask it to do?

We’re starting with the edits people make most: trims and cuts, captions, color looks, music, speed changes, reframing for vertical video, and undo. The list will grow during development.

05Which phones will it work on?

SwishCut is being built for mobile. Supported platforms, pricing, and launch timing will be announced before release.

06Is the demo on this page the real app?

No. It’s an interactive illustration of how editing with SwishCut works. If your browser supports speech recognition, you can speak commands to it: your browser’s own speech service handles the audio, and nothing is sent to SwishCut.
